The Blend International would like to welcome Louise Zedda-Sampson as guest editor of Issue #2.
Louise is a freelance writer and editor from Melbourne, Australia. She writes short stories, flash fiction and non-fiction, with her fiction appearing in anthologies and her non-fiction in journals and magazines.
She edits a broad range of fiction and non-fiction having edited for individual authors and small presses, including IFWG Publishing. Louise has organised mentorship programs for writers and editors, has been a membership officer for writing organisations, a slush reader and an awards judge. She currently manages Novel Solutions, her editing business, and runs writers retreats in the tranquil settings of the Dandenong Ranges.
For this issue of The Blend International, Louise is seeking stories that tell us more about who we are: our dreams, our failures, the roads we take to find what we are looking for and the things that happen in our lives that shape us.
Genre is open, but she has an especial fondness for speculative fiction, for stories that shine a light in the darkness and for strong characters who push past their limits.
